perhaps just my driving ... after 7-8 laps 1/2 the engine shuts down ... then requires 15-20 mins cool down period ... after that it takes only 2-3 laps to get engine into safety mode again ...
yes u can but u pay 600 bucks for it. imo not worth it....but lambo TDs r EMPTY....i hv gone on laps with no one else on track. ok the way i do it. 4 laps initially to warm up. very very slow build up...then i go in to check tires biring to 31 psi hot. then i go out for one 75% lap...follwed by 3 hot laps.....cool down 1 lap and then another 3 laps.....2 cool down n go in. 20mins later i go out again....repeat same cycle with 1 warm up initially. i shift gears 1k rpm short of max...so maybe that helps.
Eurosport is easy..just buy a lambo or a lotus.. That May TD should be plenty of fun. Lets arrange to trailer up all the cars. Arrive in style. I want to bring the 993 and 996
It's not the sick part I am worried about... It's the what if he wets himself in the car that concerns me Lung at Kenko
Dude, we should change job! You can then stay @ my apartment in KL & have 3 freaking parking lots! I have a good Thai restaurant next door Ok, about the car polish, I use the guy in my office carpark here. I just had him to go through my turbo thoroughly, wash, wax, vaccum + cleaning all the black rubber marks for RM100...... 1.5hrs but I usually leave it in the morning & collect in the evening. Conditioning of cabin is just RM50. I think swirl marks repair are about RM150-250. I'm sending my black 456GT to him next week & I'll snap some pics of before & after. Can u believe that I actually drove my 964 here just to have him detail it! Since you're coming here so often, u can always swing by my place.
bro next lambo track day can let me know? do you normally go? if no one else on track why not once in a while? maybe convince smoothie and few others to go....
Bro the May track day is going to be the best mate.... believe the Thai's are bringing all sorts of older machinery as well!!! I am going to be super fresh for that session.... can't wait for it mate!!!!!
what the heck, may just do that bud.... any excuse for a drive to KL and the hallowed grounds of Sepang!!! TripleM how about we organise a KL non track session around one of the Ferrari Club track days? Phil? Vex? MP? Jon? Bro Lung if you can let me know the dates for your track days and will see if it makes sense... cheers....
ya sure....4 a year. i ask melvin to c if he can make it cheaper for 'friends'...read - potential clients...haha
Actually, ES allows all other makes too just that u need to pay RM600 or something like that. L cars are complimentary. Damn, I would love to have some passenger time with you Fong.
Harold, I'll be joining the Malaysian Porsche Club next week & I'm sure you're welcomed too. They have many events+TD here & your hands + car will be too busy then
thks bro.... MYR600 not SGD right? If can get cheaper better still....think no reason not to go... still cheaper than a ktv night and more fun too!!!! may end up going for all of them too bro!!! tripleM/Vex/Fong how?
Bro how to join? they got track days too? what are fees? If got track days I sure will join mate! They good guys?
Had lunch with the club committee few months ago & a bunch of nice guys. Some of them knows Kin etc. & they have lots of B road drives in the northern national parks. Those are the places that we should visit Don't worry mate, it's all in ringgit & would be far cheaper than Singapore's side. I think they have more Porsches here than we do due to the COE thing. The dealership is owned by Mokhzani who's also the chairman of Sepang & they have the CGT, 993GT2s etc etc. all the rare birds that you love.
errrr.... but most of it centralised out of middle east now.... though guess they have good tracks there too....
On mate, lets all join!!! will ask the other guys as well.... would love to attend their track days... as you say far more rare cars that I would love to catch a glimpse of and see on the track!!! Will discuss with you if you can help us to submit applications and we pay you, do whatever other initiation rights are required....
