    Terry,

I'm curious as to what trim pieces were included in the 575M Factory CF option.

Thanks for the kind words Barry.

I've attached a pic of the two versions of the mirror switch control. The switches were used in both the 550/575 and the 360. I forget the actual part numbers but cars built before 2000 seem to have the 'early' style and cars built after that date seems to have the later style. But a check of the 360s on eBay sometimes turns up switches in cars that they should not seem to be in..

I have one of the early version. We could have a later one pretty quick for you.

John- The mirror control switches for the 550 and 575M are completely different. The 575M's switch is on the driver's side door by itself with no park light or hazard light switches.

    dash
base of seat where controls are located
Piece covering base of e-brake, just past the leather piece (see picture)
    door sills
    paddle shifters

For what it is worth, I have one of these cheap handles on order and a bunch of the MA Carbon stuff too. I only got the handle because it was cheap - mine stock one is fine, so if the carbon looks like poo or breaks I'll put the stock back in (OK, actually I'll get the MA one). But I'll post impressions when I get it all. Except it will be over in the low rent 355 section :)

John- As promised, here is a list of OEM parts and the prices I could find. Ones that would seem ripe for duplication are the sill panels, radio surround (very simple), instrument panel overlay, and seat trim. The parking brake and switch piece are pretty complicated, as are the door panels. Also attached are some photos to supplement the one Rob posted. I changed the names on some of the parts to make it clearer what they are. Need to save a few more images of CF parts.

    575M Carbon Fiber Parts

    189805 F1 SWITCH ASSEMBLY W. PADDLES $3733.13
    194321 PAIR SHIFT PADDLES $3,051.41
    67287628 STEERING WHEEL $4375.02
    66835500 CONSOLE W RADIO TRIM $2,798.90
    66835800 MOULDING FOR HAND-BRAKE LEVER $6,276.80
    66836300 R.H. LOWER DOOR PANEL $8,845.92
    66836400 L.H. LOWER DOOR PANEL $8,845.92
66836700 R.H. DOOR POCKET Not as spare part NLA
66836800 L.H. DOOR POCKET Not as spare part NLA
    189434 COMPLETE INSTRUMENT PANEL Unknown
    67126800 OUTER MOULDING L.H. SEAT $1,819.87
    67126700 OUTER MOULDING R.H. SEAT $1,819.87

Door pockets appear to be leather, but go with CF door panels or are included with CF door panels. No clue which

Thank you, Terry. The Factory CF set makes the cockpit look sharp!

You appear to be creating your own CF trim package slowly but surely. And for a sensible cost!

Dave- Could you post some more photos of the 550 factory CF interior? I am unfamiliar with what the option includes and it might help John.

John- Out of all your Maranello parts, there are only two pieces that fit the 575M (three if you count the steering wheel), the mirror triangles and the shifter paddles. This is two other shots of standard CF parts on all 575 SAs. The SA and 575M radio surrounds are identical. SA instrument panels also came with standard CF face.

Note the SA roof control panel, with icons that actually light up. I note the CF radio surround actually raises the radio's head slightly, providing a little more room for the radio or an aftermarket system.

550 guys in on the group buy...(if you don't check in on the original thread on the 355/348 forum)... here's an update on delivery.......Just recieved the email from the supplier:

    Hi Jeff,

Your payment has arrived. Thank you very much.

We should be able to send the all the handles later this week.

All the handles are out of mold. And they are going through coating
+ middle polishing + final coating + final polishing stage at the
    moment.

We do our best for the quality control and need some more time for the
    above process.

If you have any question, please let us know.

    Best Regards

    Koji Aoki

Thanks for all the information Terry. The 575 radio piece looks like an easy one to do. We'll take a look and see what else there is to do.

John- You have an e-mail at your company address where I offer to send you all the OEM 575M CF pieces I have, including the new sills, if you are interested. Let me know. Most of them appear to be very easy to manufacture. I have them all in hand except the passenger's side seat trim, which is in the mail.

Do you know who C.B.S. in Italy is? They and Sparco apparently make the OEM pieces.
