24 cans in 24 hours?? You call that a proper drink

 

You can have more than one case during the race just as there are more than one car - 55 to be exact and that would be a proper drink

 

Yep going over 7th June,then on to Spa for the Spa Itialia and the the Spa Summer Classic and then back to LeMans for the Classic 24. Roll on the Summer. May come home after that.

I picked up this on a sportscar website - if true could be good for 2011:

"We wrote a brief editorial some weeks ago opining on the likelihood of some of the mainstream marques committing to a Le Mans prototype programme with the advent of the new 2011 regulations.

The interview posted today with Claudio Berro, Lotus's newly installed Motorsport Director confirms that Lotus have an immediate aspiration to join Peugeot and Aston Martin on the list of manufacturers with LMP1 plans related to the 2011 regulations.

But in addition several well placed sources are now openly referring to the likelihood, and in some cases the near certainty, of a Ferrari LMP1 programme for 2011 too.

Ferrari sources last year were reported as commenting that a Le Mans programme would only be a possibility if the marque were to leave F1.

We'll happily dismiss that proviso as yet another brick in the wall of political shenanigans that seems to keep F1 more on the business and gossip pages and less on the Sports pages these days.

If there is a business model and a marketing reason behind a programme it will happen - and it appears that the troops are massing behind just that coming to pass."
