Kreisegg is one of the loudest exhausts I've heard and the good thing is the valve control. But it is indeed on the pricier side..

More like it tested me! Was handed the keys for two hours on Wednesday morning and I took it along one of our Fong Special routes ie. all expressway driving. This is one seriously fast machine and Porsche has certainly moved the game on with this new turbo - the gearbox is truly impressive and there is practically no turbo lag. The only downside is the price and that's gonna turn a lot of people off, yours truly included :(

Yep, or I wouldn't be driving an old one now. Was thinking real hard on the new Turbo. Delivery would be June/July while PI car will be April & I worry that I may just forget about it by then!

I just returned from Sepang for a morning session. Had only about 15cars but no more than 10 @ anytime. Couple of 355s, 430, 911s, Lotus, Mini etc.

but what impressed me most were the superbikes that went in after our session. God, some of those do sound like F1 cars & they are freaking fast!

Sounds like a great mix mate! This was a Porsche Club of Malaysia event and they let other makes turn up? If so we could generate a lot more interest for joining that club I am sure!

Hi Harold. Yes, it's a Porker event but then again the TD was booked by the guys who worked on my old porker! So, it was all old friends & apparently they usually cover PCM events. No spare tyres on standby but their mechanics are there to assist tyre pressure etc. Took some pics for u guys.

They only charged me RM150 since I was there for the last 45 mins. The guy also coaches.

Btw, it's RM500 to join & another 200 for annual fee. Members pay rm150 & non-members pay 600 for trackdays so I guess you can bring anything. I found a retired race car, a 993RS fully converted with GT2 bodykit & entered in a few Merdeka races.

Btw, Porsche has a new agent here & I heard that Sime Darby just took over.

U need to register online first then mail them a cheque of RM700, 200 yearly after that.

Just google for Porsche club malaysia. Quite a no of my clients are in it & one was a founding member too. My friend, the drive director just sold his 965 3.6 for under RM400K. Very very tough to find a good one now cos most have accidents.
