    Thanks Pav for uploading the pics and you chose all the cars that I loved at the show, so it seems we have the same taste :), I regret not taking pics of the yellow Dino and the Toyota 2000 GT inside the mall and the vintage automobile pics on display in the bridge area connecting the Marina Crescent and the Mall.

    I honestly don't know how many of the cars on display stay in Q8 and how many of the cars are kept abroad. I also can't say whether all of the cars on display were Kuwaiti owned or not.

    HOWEVER I know that the 512M and the Guara are local cars, the last time I saw the Guara was 11 years ago.

    Another thing I can say with great certainty is that the cars on display are not a good representative of what is owned by Kuwaiti collectors as unlike their Khaleeji counterparts they are very very private about their collections, so many lovely and fascinating pieces of automotive art never made it to the show. To give you an example a friend of mine was told by a very nice Bentley saleslady that she called up collectors to display their cars at the Concourse and 95% of them said "NO" which could be due to the "Evil Eye of Jealousy".
