Salut Christian, Did the car come with the rims when you bought it? I'm with you, I would rather have the originals.
Hello Jack! not at all, i bought them when APM makes this "option". i do the same with the F50 but definitively the original rims are the best.
I figured I would let everyone know( that may be interested): AutoArt 1/12 Nissan GT-R( in silver) should be available Feb or Mar 2010. Sorry if this is "old news", but I just wanted to share.
You may want to check out: Replicarz.com or AutoArt.com-I think they should have 2 or 3 different colors of 1/12 Veyrons for sale by AutoArt-hope that helps( I'm bad at posting photos-sorry)
yep, i m trying to get some HR pics, ant to see the fintion and mae my decision. know some colors available today. When you saw some models like pur sang or grand sport probably it s better to wait the launch by AA?
"Nuremberg toy fair is soon" do you have a date? i wold like to be eady to see some pictures asap. Thanks
thanks i wll be there! nobody gets the Veyron 1/12 by AA in HR? i chek the official site, horrible pics...
I've always loved this thread, which has been dormant for almost 2 years now. Anyhow, after a long absence, search and hesitation, I went to my fav shop today with the intention picking up a 288 GTO... But I ended up getting a Giallo Enzo as well. Both were still in mint condition. As a result of this purchase, my collection consists of: 1/8 Red Pocher F40 1/12 Red Kyosho F40 1/12 Red Tamiya Enzo 1/12 Red Kyosho Enzo 1/12 Red Tamiya F50 1/12 Red Tamiya 288 GTO 1/12 Yellow Tamiya Enzo Soon 1/12 Red Kyosho F40 Evolutione Pic will follow when I have the time.
That's an impressive list of 1/12's. All together like that they must make quite a sight. Since you have both Tamyia and Kyosho Enzos, I was interested in your thoughts on how they compare. I have a Kyosho F40 and a Tamyia Enzo and I was always a bit disappointed with the Enzo -it doesn't feel or look quite as impressive as the Kyosho F40 -part of the problem of course is the plastic body panels. I've never had the chance to see a Kyosho Enzo up close -do you think it improves on the Tamyia?
The build quality of Kyosho Enzo is the reason why I purchased another Tamiya Enzo or maybe more in the future. However, it's the K's F40, that I get the F40 Evolutione. Furthermore, both T's Enzo and K's F40 are those I've put in glass show cases. Anyhow, K's Enzo is pretty rough and inaccurate when compared to T's Enzo. It's quality is nothing compared to its K's F40, which is a pity. Also T's look more realistic, while K's is like a big toy. Only get is if you can't live without one. If I were you I'd skip K's Enzo and feel happy with T's Enzo. A black one is on my wish list now. Oh, get the GTO as well. it's a must. Never mind the T's F50... just get one for the sake of completing a modern Ferrari collection. Hope that helps. P.S. Please check out pages 13 and 16 of this thread for some pictures and details.
Thanks for the reply. I checked out your earlier photos which I hadn't seen before. I'm really surprised to hear about the Kyosho Enzo, their F40 is so good. It looks like I lucked in to the Tamyia Enzo, I only bought it on eBay because it was cheap. I will save my money for a 288GTO I think.
hello everybody, whats news in 1/12 models....i was out of the market since 4 years. so...i need pix news etc...

Hi Christian Tamiya has done the 1/12 Enzo semi assembled as an assembly kit. 1/12 Enzo Ferrari by Tamiya | HobbyLink Japan (only link I could find -please remove if against forum rules). Other than that I haven't any more news from Tamiya in 1/12. I have a crazy idea to make this kit as an exploded view diorama.. But thats deep in the "to-do" pile 😁
I ve both, but i was expecting something more....fxx, xx, or la Ferrari... I check and it s seems that Kyosho moves quickly his range. Thanks for info, keep around.
Nice. Is that the Revell F2004? If so, what are your thoughts on that model? I imagine Tamiya is busy right now working on a 1/24 version of the LaFerrari. And if their Enzo is any guide, they will release a 1/12 version in a few years from now. If they were smart, they would make an FXX version of their 1/12 Enzo as it wouldn't require too many resources to make an FXX version and it would help them to pay for all the 1/12 Enzo tooling. -F
