I'll try to make this one. A lot going on in Dallas for me that weekend.

 

weather forecast as of this morning shows a low of 26 degrees and a high of 46, almost exactly like last month.

we will have plenty of hot coffee and we will try to group everyone a bit closer so you won't need to walk all across the lot to see everything.

also, all proceeds from the event will be sent to Haitian relief!

Actually, you now have all of us well-trained. When I drove in, I automatically headed for the Italian section and a couple of Mustangs behind me went right to the other Mustangs!

 

I plan on "the well-trained" staying where they are....all others will be moved a bit closer to the land of Horses and Bulls. There's a tweet saying that the vintage T-bird group will be at C&C with more than 30 cars....

with the weather coming in on friday, my assumption is that the streets will be sanded on friday morning---and therefore the sand-solution will be on the streets saturday as well...plus it's going to be friggin' 26 degrees....

we could move cars and coffee to the following weekend, February 6th?

I hate the cold and the now that I have a Z06 the vette folks informed me it will melt in the rain and the cold will mess up my tup!

So what's the verdict here? From the weather forecasts I'm seeing, it looks like rain tonight and tomorrow, low temps, clearing up by Friday. Picking up my car from the detailer tonight, parking it in the garage until then, but when's the final decision?

this saturday is my son's pinewood derby race,if ya'll remember last year he won the race .it was a red ferrari.this year it is a lego rock band bus.postpone C&C to the 6th.

 

by the way,i have never been to C&C before.

it's official....cars and coffee, regularly scheduled for this saturday, January 30th has been postponed until February 6th due to inclement conditions.

Thank you for your candid feedback it help me make this difficult decision.

Because cars and coffee is a "word of mouth" event---please let those that you know that attend the event know about the change.

weather for the 6th shows to be warmer--46 in the am and a high in the mid 60's...chance of rain. much better than sand-solution roads and 30.

Hey All!

We know that the weather is calling for 'not so awesome-car-friendly weather', so we're postponing the CARS & COFFEE DALLAS EVENT to Saturday, Feb 6. Sorry for the inconvenience but to most of you, this works as a 'convenience'.

Since this is a word-of-mouth organization, please spread the word to your fellow car fans and let them know. Twitter and Facebook work great, too!
