Unfortunately, I will have to rely on more than driving to keep my battery charged.

I purchased a trickle charger today on my lunch hour.

There doesnt seem to be any room to mount it in the wheel well.

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks!

I have mine mounted to the wall, right next to the back right end where my 348 sits parked in the garage.

I have a 355 but I have mine hooked up that way.
I have the little plug attached to the jumper posts in the engine bay.
Whenever the car is parked I just plug it into the wall.
Its been 2 years and the battery is still at peak power with no problems.

I mounted mine to the battery cover, 1990 348TS. Works great. You do have a battery cover, don't you?

Exactly how mine is--I pull the car into the garage the same way each time and open the bonnet, plug right in, close bonnet, put on car cover and she is ready to go for the next drive...

Buy a cigarette lighter adapter at Radio Shack, the one with a 8ft cord. Splice in onto one of the adapters that came with the battery tender:http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3802148

Then it is easy to just plug into the cigarette light plug. It will work on any other car with a light plug that is active with the key out, like the 355. Totally safe to close the door on the cord, the thick door seals will not pinch it.

that's what I have. I don't want to carry the charger in the car while driving.

This is what I do, except I used a Porsche -- gasp -- battery tender that had the plug built in. Works great.
