lol - interestingly... that's what it looks like after I cleared it up with a few folders (see far right). I need a bigger screen.
Thanks Bill. That was the first pic I saw of it, so I thought it was only fitting that I use that for my profile. That pic is when it was sitting on the showroom floor of the dealership I bought it from.
Nice! If you want a high resolution version (3.2mp) let me know. That was early in the morning when the light was good, and I had just done about 7 coats of Zaino the day before. BT
Again, haven't priced them lately. I just thought that was a great deal. Figured you could get it for 30k. Pretty soon guys will buy them, keep the foglights, and ditch the rest of the car......LOL. I wonder at what point the parts become worth more than the whole.....Lou
no, THAT would be b.s. Heck, I bought a stunner 3 years ago during the peak for mid $30s, with under 25K on the clock. Low $30s is market for 348s.
Seller acted kind of suspicious. Also, I see he just deleted the ad. Too bad, as I was hoping to get this one.
Hasn't returned any of my messages, I left them early this morning. I am wondering if he was trying to start a bidding war in the hopes of getting mre than the $34k he was asking.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-348-TS-1992-Ferrari-348-TS-18-197-miles_W0QQitemZ170441117884QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item27af1510bc The price seems unbelievably low to me, but the listing looks legit. Someone needs to jump all over this one...
Or you could just buy a 94 Spider for 17,800...... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-348-1994-Ferrari-348-Spider_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem19b991af12QQitemZ110487514898QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks Who knows what to think anymore. Lou
Ferrari dealer Lake Forest SportsCars (Chicago suburbs) has a '94 348 Spider red/tan 48K mi. They sold it new and have always serviced it. $39K ~ needs a cam belt service, but the price is probably negotiable. Just my $0.02 Joe
There are currently 5 on cars.com, all '92 and newer, asking prices under $40k, all under 50k miles. There's a '92 with 18k miles on ebay with a BIN of $30k. There are 3 others stalled with a single bid at $30k or less, only one with more than 50k miles. There's a '91 on Fchat classifieds with 45k miles asking $32k. I found 3 more on autotrader asking under 40k with low mileage, and they aren't selling. That's 13 cars found in 5 minutes of searching, and I didn't touch the wholesalers. Go buy one.
Hmmm...zero feedback, car "freshly serviced", $17,800? My apologies to the seller if he/she is, by some miracle, legit, but that just smells bad to me.
Allow me to quote my own post. That's only an "advertised price" (note that there's no place to bid), you have to contact the seller to get the "details". No doubt there will be some upcharges.
Is that the one that came out as ~700KB as a JPG? You sent me that one in March 2009. If you do have an even higher resolution image, I'd love to get that one too. Really makes me wish I was able to buy right now. I wonder if prices will plateau for the next few years or if buying will be an even more attractive prospect when my time comes... Anyway, as prices seem to be falling, this gives current owners every excuse to get out there and enjoy themselves by racking up the miles! All the best, Andrew.
I agree - get out there & enjoy each day!!! Judging by Obama's actions, prices will continue down on all models... and the nation in general. We have little time unless something drastic happens.
