Steering: How many turns from lock to lock?

I am trying to locate a challenge steering (just got hold of a CH pump) and was just wondering how much the steering change. I went down to the garage and tested how many turns my standard rack has and it turned out to be just under 3,25 turns lock to lock. Anyone out there with a challenge rack that could test how many turns you have lock to lock?

I read somewhere on the forum that it was supposed to be 2,75 turns on standard and 2,5 on challenge. That doesn’t seem to be correct (unless the measure is made in another way) anyone that can help me straighten out this question?

 

I am wondering about that also. I have a Challenge pump and rack that I will be installing in a few weeks and wondering how much different than stlock. Any Challenge owners out there that can help?

 

Do you also have ~3,25 turns lock to lock today?

 

I will check next week when my car is out of storage.
