Fellow FChatter HELD in high regard - saw1998 (Scott)

Good day gentlemen/ladies;

There was a recent thread about a fellow FChatter NOT held in high regard. In light of that, I would like to post the opposite, and I am certain that anyone who knows Scott (saw1998) and have dealt with him would agree with me.

A while back, Scott contacted me out of the blue to offer me something, at absolutely no charge, and even when I tried to pay for the shipping he REFUSED and EVEN PAID FOR THE SHIPPING. Prior to this, I had did not have any correspondance (email or PM) ever with Scott, nor had I ever spoken with him over the phone.

I just wanted to say that what Scott did for me was one of the kindest gestures that has ever happened to me, regardless of the value, and regardless of it being Ferrari related or not. I got to know something personal about Scott that not many others even think about doing. In my opinion, he is a true gentleman for such a gesture to me, and one of the best human beings in this world for the other matter which I learned about him. If only the world was full of Scott's

So Scott, I know how modest you are - in fact I think you are going to kill me for posting this but I feel you deserve this honourable mention and the way I have described you, and even so these words simply are not enough....unfortunately there are no words in the English language that I can use to speak about a person like Scott.

Cheers Scott, may life and other human beings be as good to you as you are towards life and other humans!!

Scott is a class act............he also contacted me a few yrs back when I was looking for a leather sleeve for my 355 fire extinguisher.

 

Ah yes, that is one word I could have used....definitely a classy gentleman.

Scott has an amazing memory, I was chasing an item a while ago and a few months after me asking around about it Scott contacted me to say he had found the exact item I was looking for. I have to say I was very suprised he remembered someone was looking for this thing, and I was astonished he could remember who was looking for it.

Seriously, guys I really appreciate the complements more than you'll ever know. I can say the same about everyone in the 348/F355 section. I think each of us would give the shirt off of his back to help a fellow Fchatter. It's amazing the friendships that can develop on an Internet site. Thanks for making my month.
