Looks nice, but for the F-40, I'd stick with Red.
Wow, havent ever seen pics of an F40 in another colour apart from red( yes I should look around more I guess), black looks simply superb.
Good to see an F40 in some other hue other than red, and this choice was well-considered. Looks verrrrry nice.
Hi Andy, Very impressive in black, congratulations! Do I understand correctly that the new paint was done in Italy? If yes, maybe by Zanasi in Maranello? Regards, Lars T.
Rosso Red Barchetta Red Fly, and Belgian Giallo Nero All pictured together in a picture at Factory(Cavallino???) cica 1988/89? Seen all but Belgian in Japan in 1998-all cars had "delivery Miles" and thus were "first" paint cars...Yes, Black is usually voted best once seen in the flesh... I even saw a few 1987 paper mache versions with "fishnet" windows and cracks ALL over the clams at "flex Points"...they were with the Evo 288 at art sports(Matsudas?) it waas so long AGO....
"Other than red" F40s were painted by ZANASI or Pininfarina. My father asked for a factory "French blue" paint and they answered NO! Even the Avvocato Agnelli F40 was red...
I saw this French blue car last week, painted by Zanasi, fairly recently, not when new. Paul Image Unavailable, Please Login
When my father raced his f40 in the italian GT championship a friend of us painted his F40 (#74047) in that kind of light blue livery. One of the best looking F40 ever made.
