I feel silly admitting this but some of the paint jobs this season are fantastic. Renault, McLaren and and now VR. Reminds me of the JPS Lotuses and various Benettons...

I like the fact that they have sneaked a Yorkshire Rose onto the nose of the car. It's on the inside of the uprights that hold the front wing - the same place where they have the Senna S on a Williams - can't find any pictures of it though. There was a feature about the launch on the local news last night.
An F1 team based in Yorkshire - I never thought I'd see the day. I hope they beat the other new teams.

It was also featured in the launch video on their website. Friggin' Yorkshiremen remind me of Texans - Wanna be an independent nation. :D

That's a very good looking car; love the color scheme & graphics. I can't keep up anymore, is this the Nick Wirth design?

    :D

    I was figuring you'd have a comment Carol ;)

No "malice" intended, just an attempt at highlighting the "Yorkshire mentality" - Nothing wrong with it, but an attempt at explaining why the Rose (red or white, can never remember- sorry!) is significant on their car. [Honest!]

    Cheers,
    Ian
PS - Do the majority still have to be born in Yorkshire in order to play cricket for 'em? - IIRC, that's why they sucked for so long :p

    +1

Plus, for anyone that doesn't know, Virgin are a *major* player in the broadband supplier business in the UK - That their "online launch" had "technical difficulties" has gotta be giving Sir Dick palpitations :D

    Cheers,
    Ian

Borrowed a phone from my bartender the other day. As soon as I hit a key, this "Virgin" screen popped up. I must have looked perplexed because she had time to explain: It is the phone company, you idiot! I had no idea.

    Apparently available at Wal-mart.

    Cool!

Anyone seen any reports on how it went?

They're obviously on wets (welcome to Silverstone in Feb!) which doesn't help, but I wonder how many laps they got in?

+1 on the underdog pick comment! - At least they've turned a wheel it seems.....

    Cheers,
    Ian
