Trust Me, that boys got some junk stashed somewhere! (I'm sure I read somewhere that he does actually have an old car in pieces somewhere that he's been meaning to restore one day when he has the time).
It that's the case, he really wants to do it himself then. Because Rami's tuning shop isn't exactly overflowing with customers...
If some of the posts on here turn out to be true, he should have plenty of time on his hands to do it soon.
4rePhill covers it nicely. LOL. I know he does own an Enzo, Diablo GT and (used to?) own a CLK-DTM (one of the most exciting cars made ever)...Do you know what else he owns? Also 2 'walz hardcore' bikes.
I believe the thing with Kimi is, like for many other people with a Finnish passport and property in Finland, they walk a very thin line between a tax haven and tax hell. It is imperative that no government agency can even accidentally interpret that one actually resides in Finland despite claims to the opposite. Therefore, the less you talk about your whereabouts and your possessions, the safer it is. Especially in a sparsely populated country where the citizens oppressed by taxation are too eager to increase their ranks. This results in some strange arrangements, like people living in Estonia and commuting to Helsinki 4-5 days a week by helicopter. Or people storing their expensive cars that are not registered (and taxed) in Finland across the border in Sweden while they are not in the country. It can be a PITA but it is well worth it in many cases. If you are talking about the Gumball 3000 DTM, it belongs to the guy who originally built "the big house" in Finland and has been pictured in the garage. It was sold to him as a Carlsson tweaked ~700hp version but has subsequently turned out to be a fake built on a regular CLK. I believe the perp is in jail now.
ah fair do's. In Holland they're very strict on taxes too...you're not even allowed to store some monies in switzerland anymore now. That's why I don't live there (main reason anyhow). I thought Kimi got a CLK-DTM from Mclaren? perhaps he bought a second one I don't know. His CLK was a black one....
Even before I clicked on it, I knew it was going to be Kraftwerk. Have you seen this? British comedian Bill Bailey did a Kraftwerk tribute song... YouTube - Bill Bailey - Das Hokey Kokey Knien geborgen, Arme gestrecht, Ra ra ra...
I watched Bill baileys tour a billion times now orso, it's so bloody funny. The best one is 'the scale of evil'
