How does the Padron '64 45th Anniversary compare to the normal '26? I had a '26 a few months ago and loved it and I'm getting the consensus here that the 45th is one of the best of the year. I couldn't believe it but my mother actually went to my local cigar shop, looked up my purchases and bought me one as a stocking stuffer. Probably my favorite gift I got, shows the real spirit of christmas doesn't it?

The '64 packs more wallop than the '26 but the 40 anni actually brings out some additional nuance that is hard to describe. The tasting notes are more pronounced but smooth. Try it and report back!

Enjoying a CAO Brazil - not bad. Those Toscanos sure look enticing!

Had it the other night and it was quite good until about the 2 inch mark and I thought it started getting very harsh, could have been because it was quite cold out and I was smoking faster than usual, will have to try another during the spring. As a side note, what does everyone do about their humidors during the winter? I can't seem to get mine over 60% even with getting an extra bottle of the crystals.

Boxing day I believe I purchased this:

    1 x Opus X
    1 x Xikar Executive

That was all that was left of the Opus, I forgot to take a picture before I smoked it. God I love that cigar.

Is there an opus x that retails for 16 bucks? I cant remember the exact one but Im thinking its a perfection 4 or 5.

I walked into a new shop yesterday and noticed they has opus x on the shelf the price seemed to be way off from what Ive seen in my regular shop (about 30)

Does this price point sound right to you guys or should I run back and buy more.

My guys routeinly (sp?) sell them fir that and less. In fact, I would say $13/stick is avg. But I can check if you like. I KNOW they do not avg $20/stick.

Don't go to any extra trouble. I guess the other place I saw them at were just over priced. Good to know thanks.

Last night I had a Alec Bradley Tempus. This is the new rage at my local shop. It wasn't bad but was too sweet for me, almost like a maduro. I don't think it was a maduro but I noticed the same characteristics.
