A guy filling up in the 'hood the other day, was getting a lot of comments...he answered:

    "It's a RENTAL!"

    LOL!

We popped the hood and checked it out but no engine label ANYWHERE!!!

A V-8, nicely optioned with moon roof and Brembos all around.

I should check out McSwiggan's. Its around the corner from me and I'm always interested in trying out different pubs.

    Great articles Jim!

Sorry gang! I did my best to write off Writerguy. I threw him in one of the team 125cc shifter kart, but as you see either A) his driving talent is high enough, or B) corner entry speed low enough that he managed to bring himself (and my kart!!!) back in one piece. He is still typing so apparently he nervous system has recovered, not sure about his kidneys....

Yes Phil!!!! Actually, i've sped up the camera a bit on Jim as well, so he didn't look quite so bad!!!

Just kidding, in fairness to Jim (which we try not to be), time restraints meant he was only able to put in 3 sessions on the track. So what we see in the video is his first session using the gearbox, so in my opionion he has actually done a very good job getting up to speed and keeping everything on the island.

I think if had he a few more sessions he would have really gotten to grips with things and the slow motion film reel would appear a bit more rapid!

    I know, that just "stuck-out".

I'll have to try Bick House when I go to Houston next.
