SuperCar Sunday - 2-14-10 Photos

What time do people usually start showing up for Supercar Sunday? I arrived at 6:45a this morning and stayed until about 7:45. The lot was nearly empty when I left.

Cars and Coffee in Irvine is in full swing by 6:45a.

 

It used to be that the old VCR was packed by 8:00 - I went today and at 8:00 there were about a third of the cars that normally show up for C&C - though there were some real nice ones. I suspect the new location has started a new tradition that includes starting a bit later - cars were still pulling in at 9:00 when I took off. I think that the end of the month this month will help to kick this event into high gear - and with the nicer weather maybe it'll get going a little earlier.

 

Most people seem to arrive around 8:00am and stay until a bit after 10:00am. There are a few who come in earlier, and many who stay later, but during that two hour window the lot stays pretty full.

I took the two crowd shots below on Jan 24th at around 9:45 am. The place was pretty packed at that point and it was just the second week in the show's new location, and not the last Sunday of the month.
