Although I don't know why the cats I received look different than Jmiff348 cats ... did they changed design in between productions ?

You're right, Eric. I purchased mine from deluboz (fellow fchatter) here in Dallas.

Roberto, your installation looks great! I also found that installing the new cats made everything line up perfectly at the bumper. The tips are no longer even the slightest bit off center. I hope you will post some sound clips of your drive tomorrow... :)

Thanks, I am also glad you were able to align everything perfectly. I will take pics of the drive ( if it doesn't rain ) but I don't know about the sound, mmmh, i need a good video camera and perhaps post it on Youtube ...
Now it make sense why your cats are different than mine, yours are not Nouvolari.

Finally was able to drive the Mondial t with Nouvalari today (sorry, no pics/video yet...out of town for a funeral) before the rain returned. From the inside, I love the sound, but apparently I have no idea of how great it really sounds. My wife said she heard it and it sounds like an exotic should now. Very throaty on the low end and racy on the highs.

I need to get a recording of me going down the street so that I'll know what it sounds like. (probably like the 348's in the Youtube videos)

Talking about increasing performance ? YES, absolutely better throttle response and more HP.
I have to get used to the sound now, it has really changed and during today's run I kept the window half down to enjoy it. This exhaust system was really a great buy ! Thank you Glenn !!!!!

Old exhaust is out! Waiting for the new one to arrive. I have been cleaning up the bolts and fitting by dipping them in FastEtch which removes the rust and zinc coats them. I have the old polished De-Cat pipes which I'll sell if anyone wants them, say $150.00. They have about 1500 miles on them. I have the OEM cats as well if anyone is looking. Anyone know where I can get a paint that looks like the OEM Cadmium gold for the muffler mounts on top?

Mike, it's great to see that you're going all out! I refitted the old rusty bolts and must say they look like crap. :) I'm anxious to see pics of your completed work!

My bolts, nuts and washers still look like crap even after the FastEtch, but the flanges and bolt springs look brand new. I was going to buy new bolts, but at $11.50 a piece for OEM I will pass. I did think about finding SS bolts and nuts of the same size, still looking. I figured while I'm waiting I might as well clean up a bit. Lots of dirt I can finally get too in that engine bay :D.

Stainless bolts are a problem especially on exhaust systems. They tend to gall (the heat cycles aggravate the problem). I'd stick with plated steel.

You might try Eastwood for cad finish paint.

I just called DHL and they have no record of the package scheduled to be delivered to my house :(. It was supposed to be here by Monday or Tuesday from what they told Glenn. I haven't heard back from Glenn yet, but I have sent him a couple PM's. Anyone else run into trouble with the shipping? Customs hold up maybe? Got my car apart and now I wonder if it will be that way for a while.

Mike, I had a slight address mixup with mine, which delayed delivery by 1 day. When I called DHL, they also told me the same thing (no record of the shipment - by name, address, nothing). Glenn was able to resolve it the same day.

    Thanks,
I tried contacting Glenn a few times but I think he must be away. He usually gets back to me quickly. Guess I am just getting antsy because the weekend is almost here and I was so ready to put the exhaust in. Next week is shot for me because of a tight schedule. Mostly I just want to hear it and I am actually 10 years old inside :D.

Just heard from Glenn, he's in Vegas but on the problem. Looks like a shipping mix up, my exhaust is somewhere in Texas :D. Hopefully I'll get it this coming week. Now I just need to find something to do with the time I scheduled for this weekend.

Ha, Ha did you really get it! Man I tell ya. Well at least I know its in good hands. Looks like I will be doing more engine bay, bolt and flange cleaning until next week. I managed to get the clutch cover nice and clean with some WD-40, now I'm looking at trying to clean the engine cradle......snow bound and stir crazy :D :D :D

Maybe I can install one exhaust system per bank??? LOL! If it does show up here, seriously, I will FedEx it to you overnight with Saturday delivery!!! I know this must be killing you, but at least your engine bay will be spotless. :)

Thanks for the offer! The engine bay needed a cleaning, lot of dust so I guess this is a good thing. I was thinking about maybe fabricating a better looking heat shield too, maybe I'll do that.

I knew about the extra shipment but had no way of knowing who it belonged to, so I had to wait for Nouvalari to clear this up, I will admit I felt they were slow to react.
Mike, I am doing my best that one way or the other you will have your system by next week,
    I apoligize for any inconvience.

    PS
Met Roberto while out in Vegas and wanted to say thanks
