I heard a review on the radio, they advertised it as "an all time classic" in the review. Anybody seen it yet?

Yes, I went to an advanced screening about a month ago. It's really well done. Very moody cinematography, great plot, great acting.

    It should be out now?

Can’t wait to see it! It has all the marks of a classic according to reviews. DiCaprio has such a boyish face but has played some amazing rolls in Gilbert Grape, Titanic, Aviator, Catch Me if You Can. Love to see him in something gritty like this.

The trailer creeps me out, but it's a Scorsese film, so I'm going to have to see it.

I just got back from it, and it was definitely one of the best films that I have seen this year. As Zack said the acting, plot and cinematography was all excellent.

One question for those of you that have seen it.... how scary is it?

I really have no time for movies that frighten me. Is there anything that jump out at you, or any disturbing scenes? :)

Maybe one. It's not a scary movie. It just plays with your head because of the plot twist, which is only revealed in a late part of the movie.

It is NOT scary at all.

Acting & everything was top notch.

Am I the only one who found the whole script/movie a bit dull?

The acting and cinematography were excellent. Movie is a bit slow but it all comes together about a half hour from the end. Great watch!

Just saw it - not scary but there is one "disturbing" part regarding the death of children.

Agree w/ others, very well acted and kind of a edgy, twisty thriller/novel genre.

Leaves you entertained but unwilling to see it again.

just got home from movie - it's OK - and only OK -

I won't spoil anything - but I will not go see it again - nor would the other people I went with.

It's not scary for those of you who asked.

Even if you liked it, why would you pay to see a movie again?

    My thoughts exactly.

I haven't been that messed up since Fight Club.

    It was insane.

LOVED it!! Wife and I played "hookie" today at the office and took the phones
off the hook to go see the 12:15 showing.

We LOVED the movie. Even though I figured out where it was going fairly
early, it didn't stop me from enjoying every minute.

The cinematography and soundtrack were just amazing. Not a dull moment
in my book - film noir at its best. Hitchcock would have been very pleased.

    4 out of 4 stars.
