Thanks guys, am torn between the two.... think I am looking for the menacing look so am slightly tending towards the black. I guess if I want to go orange I can always slap the original rims back on... Mike, what car did you get???? and what plan is now afoot????!!!! Damn should have made the dinner it seems a lot occured!!!
Hey guys I just wanted to share some pics of my E230! Its no Ferrari or Lambo like you guys have but I still love her to bits! Just got this car about two months ago! I hope to get an exotic someday certainly! Working towards that! Cheers guys! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
AMT wheels... here is an example http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/porsche-911-turbo-porsche-panamera-forum-panameraboard-com/129328-new-amt-forged-wheels-my-997tt.html
Nicely put together, well done. And good on you for keeping the E230 badge on and not rebadging it to a fake E55.... By the way my uncle used to have an E55 in your colour. He is now looking at an E63 to replace his S8 and getting rid of his R8 for a 997tt too (the R8 actually replaced a 997).... guess his Audi fetish is over....
Ahhhh ok.... am reviewing them as part of my due diligence before finally purchasing my wheels for the RS and have heard some good things about them. Actually started a thread on them elsewhere and Smoothie thought you actually had them.... guess he was right! Switzer is selling them out of the US and swears by them. They are in the running, together with GMG and Champions right now... But whilst weight not quite as low as Champions, I do like the look of them alot.. The GMG's are also stunning as well and very light.... and to top it off carry the GMG name which is big in my books... thanks buddy. i didn't touch anything actually. the car came with the kit. and i certainly will not rebadge! one look at the brakes and wheels and its easy to see its a fake! no ventilated discs! best to keep it real!
different car lah welcome to Fchat & good luck on the dream of acquiring an exotic what's driving the desire to change shoes Harold? Gravel rash, lighter weight or simply looks. I personally don't mind the original rims either .. but those GMG's are the winners for me
