    Hose replacement for 1990 testarossa.
For OEM look I used cut lengths of Gates green stripe which has a similar wrapped look as original finish. Position the stripe so as not to be seen. I did use a silicone replacement with wider clamps to replace the right angled hose No.122944 from Eurospares.
    No 122969- 10 of 1.3/8' (34.9mm) at 3.1/2' (89mm) long.
    No 121166- 4 of 1.1/4' (31.8mm) at 3' (75mm) long.
    No 122938- 1 of 1.1/2' (38mm) at 6' (152mm) long.
All looks original and good tight fit.

Thanks for the information! I will start putting together a more comprehensive list by measuring tubes and hoses in my Testarossa and then will post it here.

Does anybody have information / source for those red silicone sleeves going over the ignition wires (not from the distributors of Ferrari Parts)?

    Hello,

The Auxiliary Air Valve (Ferrari part 125880) is BOSCH # 0280140104. Does anybody know if this part can be substituted by Bosch # 0280140145 (W0133-1606470), which is used on other cars with KE-Jetronic fuel injection system (i.e., 1984-87 Merc/Benz 300)?

See pictures attached: top two pictures - Bosch 0280140104; bottom two - Bosch 0280140145.

Robert you are on to a winner if you can beat these silly prices.
For a similar item for a Ford the bushes are about £5 :(

Just wanted to a cheap Coolant overflow tank cap.
No F dealer locally so I tried my Napa and found a close match for $6.34!
Put it on and took a 60 mile drive and no problems! It's Napa part # 703-1446 16lb radiator cap.
1.1 bars I found out means 16 pounds. Not exact because it's a got a rounded shape vs square for stock. Some people may not like that. Hope it helps someone in a pinch any ways.

If for a US or late euro TR (KE-Jet) = F PN 125135 = Bosch 0438170042 -- see post #14 in this thread:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=131167

    If for an early euro TR (K-Jet) = F PN 113978 = Bosch 0438170004

(IMO, check at rockauto, autohausaz, and importeccatalog for best price -- and let us know the results ;))

    Robert,

The Jaguar part number for this coil is DAC 4608 the correct Marelli part number is BAE504DK and will fit a TR.

If you put this number in your ebay search you will find a few come up for sale.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Phil.

    Thanks Phil,

It seems that the USA cars have a different coil to the Euro and UK cars.

As mine is a UK model I need to make sure that what I get is a good replacement.

There are a couple of Jaguar breakers in my area and if I knew which model Jaguar the UK/Euro spec coil was fitted to it would be simple to pick one up I think.

My three Testas all have the same coils. Where the four wires (2 red / 2 yellow) attache to the coil, they fit into round plugs with female 6mm blade terminals in them.

The replacement coils that I have seen by following this thread all have a four pin, large oval shaped plug to connect the red/yellow wires.

Without purchasing and changing the plugs on my car, these replacement coils won't fit. Also, the ignition modules shown on many of these coils is slightly different to the standard ones on my cars.

I tried to take some side by side comparisons of a coil that I purchased from evilBay USA which was supposed to have come off a Testa, and compared it to my UK version originals and it's very different.

Unfortunately I must have some sore of finger virus as the pics didn't record onto the CF card so I have to do them all again.

    Robert,

It will be a XJ 12 or XJS V12 fitted with Marelli ignition systems only.

The others use a different system and coil.

    Regards,
    Phil.
