It was just a request from the factory to change our club's name from "FCT" to "FOCT - Ferrari Owners Club Thailand" from now on... BTW, I will update new avartar as soon as I got the proper art work which being approved by Maranello. Cheers,
I would be around for a week or two in Thailand (primarily Bangkok, then Chiang Mai) this month and would love to see (and photograph) something from the local exotics scene. Can someone guide me on where to go? All those fabulous exotics on this thread has got me all :OO Still an amateur but I love photographing cars. http://www.flickr.com/photos/amran8888/ Would really appreciate your inputs. Thanks, lots.
Give your little effort to check out the early post, then u know where it is... You are welcome here,
Haven't posted here for quite a while.... I think you guys probably don't recognize me anymore... but I used to own the red 355 in the photo a few pages back. I hope to see some of us at the same venue this Sunday krub. Forget the red shirt rally... let's drive the red car. Politic sucks, F1 boring, drinking coffee with friends on Sunday morning...now that sounds much better.
Hello Gents, I'm coming back from the USA in a few days. Anyone need anything hand carried? I am already bringing some american candy for a member, anything else anyone wants?
Got caught in the Red Shirt rally today..... Uggh! Had to walk from Siam Paragon to freeking Nana!!! Damn!
I almost called you at first but what were you going to be able to do? I also got my police ID out in case I thought I needed to hide at the police head quarters. I was on the last BTS to Siam before they shut down the station. I actually noticed I was about the only one that got off the train... and then I heard them and thought... "Oh, god....!" Train left. No more even slowed down! Got down the steps and did a quick check to see if I had anything at all yellow on.... ...then walked into the crowd. 100k, 200k people?? Easy! All kinds of shouting and yelling. Using my limited Thai, I kept repeating "Long live the King!" when ever I heard it. It was good to see respect for His Royal Majesty is universal. Then in a burst of personal security, I bought a red arm band for 20 bht (When in Rome....) and a bottle of water and they loved me! I was petrified my photo, arm band and all would end up on the front page of the Bangkok Post and my masters in Va would flip!!! I also helped put up the Flag of Thailand because I was the tallest and it hit me in the head. I thank God and Lord Buddha that protests in Thailand are not like the protests in Iraq! Oh, and I saw this happen...! I hope that kid is ok; he did not look like anyone I knew from the Sunday Meetings. I thought they might kill him but I think it was an honest traffic mistake. And he got ushered in to the Intercontinental pretty fast by the cops. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Actually, the driver is our young friend. Unfortunately, he ran into wrong traffic, so thats why...Must be his terrible experience ever. Lucky him the police escorted him to nearby InterContinental hotel safely. After the incident, I had talked to him. Being told that it was not his intention to those mobsters. It might be his panic against sea of red people. Good to know he is ok now, but seeming like his targa NOT.
A cool party was here last night! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=139495720#post139495720 Enjoy,
