Take styling cues from the f40 and apply them to the 355? To me, the 355 looks like the beautiful, more civilized, (baby version) of the f40. Similar to the 348 being sired by the testerossa.

    Your thoughts?

    LOL!!! :D

Nope, no F40 but when I look at a 355 I see the end of a line of beautiful Ferrari's, F40 and 355 share Ferrari DNA so there are some similarities.

:Insert cheap shot at 360 (marshmallow? Jellybean?) styling here:

The 355 looks more like an evolution of the 288 GTO in my opinion.

1 Look at the overall lines (-the f40 wing)
2 the cab with tucked rear glass
3 the front air damn and grill
4 pop uplights and front hood
If you photoshopped the 355 a$$end and rear window set up to an f40 it would look amazingly close.

You may wish to place this credit elsewhere...;)

Remember F40 is an evolution of the 288GTO...

It's no secret that the 355 design was largley inspiried by the GTO (among other models) just look at the rear lights, the kam tail, the front end, the side... Oh God I love this car. Gives me the hot flashes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Leonardo Fioravanti design the 308, 328, & 388GTO among others while he was at Pininfarina? The F-40 being an evolution of those cars along with the 348 & 355, it stands to reason they would have a resemblance. All stunning automobiles. Just my $.02 worth.

Interesting... that is missing the 348...

I can't forget the 288GTO, my favorite car of all time. :)

    One day maybe.

You and me both, brother. 2010 was going to be my "year" for a 288 GTO. However, the huge price increase and my ex-wife made sure that didn't happen. :)

    Doubt it ever will. :(
