heard on the grape vine a new owner has bought it and will be announced soon
Interesting.. hope injects "new owner" enthusiasm to keeping it viable and attractive date on the calendar!
It can be a real death spiral when costs rise beyond majority prepared to pay, numbers go down, costs increase even more meaning even less numbers again.. Reminds me of 993 Turbo S I drove on a skidpan once.. once its wheels broke loose then revs go up instantly, more boost gives more wheelspin which gives even more boost.. and so on lol..
True enough, but I've met the chap behind CA and I was not dazzled by the experience... Boost in a turbo is normally as much a function of throttle opening as revs. What you describe above only applies if the driver keeps their foot buried. I presume you lifted, but emissions controls on modern cars won't allow the throttle to close quickly enough for the driver to correct excess power quickly.
And then you go round and round in circles until you dissappear up................. well you know the rest.
Yes for sure! even 2/3 sec was plenty long for the break away process to escalate.. touchy little bugger and was more sensitive after that first foray lol.
Pretty much official now. "Classic Adelaide is in financial difficulty, casting doubts on whether it will be run this year." Ripped from The Advertiser Friday 26/3/2010 Image Unavailable, Please Login
