classic Museum is from Mexico and was active on ebay..
Their kits are pretty rough and need a lot of work.

    Great result!

Thanks for the encouraging comments on my 312P. I think to be fair on Classic Museum, it's best to say that the quality of their kits (at least this one) is mixed. The main body I thought was actually pretty good -it was smooth, very few air bubbles and nice crisp panel lines. The various vents needed opening out and mine had sustained a little shipping damage but nothing serious. The photo etch was also quite well done. The rest of the resin parts (base, cockpit and engine intake) were much worse and needed a lot of attention to get a fit. The cast metal parts were mostly atrocious -very crude and made from a very hard brittle metal that was difficult to work. I ended up scatch building most of the components I could -exhausts, roll bar, steering wheel, pedals, etc. The wheel centres were the biggest disappointment as I couldn't figure out how to scatch build them or clean them up properly -I was going to replace them with a set from an MG P4 but these turn out to be too large. Just when I thought I'd finished, the decals completely disintegrated and I had to print my own. Finally, I think there could be a bit more detail included in the kit -I always intended to add door and engine cover hinges/catches but haven't found any reference that gives a close enough view. So, if you're thinking of having a go at one of these, be warned.

You decide if you wanna let it go? I found a cheap racing one on eBay, but I think I'd rather the plain one. Let me know.

    Thanks.
