Dino - butt first, then wiggle in.

360 butt first, then just turn in.

More room too maneuver into the 360 under the steering wheel than the Dino. Car's a little higher off the ground, too.

interestingly, my wife and kids all enter left foot, butt, right foot into the passenger seat. None has any experience entering the driver's seat. :D

Being that I have a messed up back, the Dr. says getting in a vehicle by sitting on your butt first then rotating in puts less strain on the back.

If you don't have a right hand drive car I want to see a picture of this method. Going in LEFT foot first would seem to be a little awkward. I go in butt first since it seems to put less pressure on the bolster.

right foot, kinda-spin/hop/pivot-move, butt, left foot.

My arms are never allowed in the vehicle at any time though.

me too. when i injured my back the physical therapist taught me how to get in a car. holding onto the open door with one hand and the pillar with the other you sit down butt first. bend forward and rotate your feet into the car using the steering wheel for leverage. exit by turning feet first placing both feet on the ground. bending forward, pushing up with the left hand and pulling on the open door with the right as you stand. no stress on the back at all. works on everything from my 308 to a bentley.

For me usually feet first. If I'm wearing heels I sit first.

This is exactly how I approach it. Sit, clap feet, one leg in at a time, seat belt on. Then reverse to get out.

Our new house has a very narrow 2-car, 2-door garage with a row of steel columns down the middle.

I'm finding butt-first to work the best for my fat old ass.

Like the OP mentioned for technique. Right foot in first, left hand on carbon fiber door sil, but on seat. If you rotate on the seat bolster you will cause noticible wear.

The problem is that by the time you get enough money to own one, you're old and fat, or at least old. I sit on the seat then put my legs in.

Same here. I try to stay off the side seat bolster entering and exiting as I totally destroyed it on one of my old 911s.
