    April is almost upon us. Based on the tremendous interest this drive has received, I think it would be a good opportunity to assist those less fortunate as well.

    As you know, our good friend Jon Walton (turbo7903) has been working with the Boys and Girls Club of Delaware for quite some time and doing great work. I have attended many of his previous events and I admire his dedication to this worthwhile cause. I would like us to support him in his efforts. Accordingly, I am asking that all participants make a small donation, whatever they are comfortable with. My law firm will contribute up to $500.00 towards the cause in matching funds.     Has the route been determined yet? Starting and ending point? Miles do not matter to me just trying to budget time and locations.

    I am continuously impressed by the generosity of members of this board. In this instance, I want to extend my warmest gratitude to Bufferbarry.

    Bufferbarry has agreed to donate a complete detail to the person who donates the most money!

    Specifically, he will offer a full paint correction with a complete interior and exterior detail. The services will be provided either mobile or at his location in Lancaster County. Preferrable at his Location. He will also throw in a free company polo shirt.

    The ride will begin at the Iron Skillet Restaurant in Elkton Maryland. From there we will travel through Maryland, Delaware and up into Pennsylvania towards Lancaster. This route will include some of the greatest hits from past drives and some beautiful places to stop and hang out. We will stop for an early dinner back in Maryland within close proximity of the Skillet and I-95.

    The total mileage will be around 150 give or take and depending on the size of the group could take 6-7 hours w/stops.


    --That doesn't count ;) Now go put yourself on the list like a good boy :)

    Joe, it's my curse. As soon as I plan something in advance something 99.9% of the time comes up.

    This will probably be my first event. I look forward to meeting the guys. I have attached my first quick shot of my car that was delivered Tuesday night and is now garage bound due to yet another snow storm?!?!

    With all of this snow I have been looking forward to this event like a kid waiting for Santa.
    Unfortunately, it is Easter Weekend which means my chances are low of getting the date off. Will let you know mid March.

    I even convinced my daughter to come along and provide the soundtrack. Can't hear the engine with the factory exhaust anyway.

    Great point. The raindate will not be Easter Sunday! it will be the following Saturday. If I had half a brain I would have scheduled the whole thing for the following week
