Not sure who will see this before they depart, but after all the rain we had today you might be well advised to skip the Topanga detour tomorrow morning. Usually the canyon roads don't fare so well in that kind of weather and will still be muddy and perhaps rocky just one day after the rain.

Topanga shouldn't be too bad....I think we will take our chances

 

I checked out a couple of the canyons yesterday and they were pretty rocky including a 2 ton boulder in the middle of the street. The good news is that I saw a cal trans truck with a plow on the front clearing the street.

It was good meeting you guys, the Topanga Canyon option would have been OK on the way to the show IMO. My friend in the E-86 Toyota and I took it back but it was agonizing following the Sunday drivers so we diverted to Tuna Canyon Road. Bit tight for the 550M but still 100X better than TCB in mid day. Thank God I had the new Stop Tech brakes as that is one tight road!. I am going to put together a cruise for a very early Sunday morning at a yet to be disclosed very twisty road, any of you interested?

Great pics Frank! I am going to have to order the front shot of my car....very nice.

Anyone have videos of our drive to the show? It would be awesome to hear some of the cars.....the caravan was such a nice site to see.
