Fantastic pics, Fluffy! Daytonas are simply fantastic. I have a photo of that white 997 Turbo in Jordan a few days ago. Please check you PM...
A sweet looking lambo..... http://www.exoticsonroad.com/picture/?890195/Lamborghini-Murcielago-LP-640
I had a crazy day of photo-taking today. Not only was there some breathtaking low mist in the harbour but on the roads I saw twenty-six Ferraris (including a red 328 GTS, you'll be pleased to know 328gtsfan) in a space of about 2-3 hours and a LP670-SV with Balboni decals. Sometimes this place is just ridiculous. I would post them here but I haven't had a chance to blank the license plates yet and I'm not really keen on posting them in a HK forum with the plates on (not that it should really matter).
i'm out of attachment room, but i have pictures from this week's (and last week's) SMD on my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/erdero/
Great pictures! Since you've not removed the plates, here are mine http://s276.photobucket.com/home/juanchaihk/index Did you get any photos of the harbour in the mist? It looked fantastic on Sunday and Saturday morning but I couldn't really get any good shots. PS DO you know if there will be any SMD's in the end of March or beginning of April? I will be in the UK for two weeks starting this Thursday but would love to try and get up to one in the near future.
26! Thats pretty amazing. Nice shot of the 328.. he lined it up nicely for you I've seen a red 328GTB in HK so there is one of those out there as well. Nice find of the 22B, and the stock looking 2 door STi. Thanks for all the photos.
I have seen a number of 328's, I think there was a GTB somewhere in my plethora of photos. Yes, there you go I've snapped two 22B's here from memory. Do you mean the white STi Type-R? If so there are two identical ones in my album, both kept in great condition.
I unfortunately didn't get any photos of the nice misty harbour since I had to start working as soon as I got back at noon, but the picture you have looks amazing! I'm only here until Saturday (been here two months) working on a project for university, so I have no idea about any future SMDs, unfortunately. -- I didn't have to work today which was nice, so I decided to go out car hunting and stopped by both the SPS shop in Kowloon Bay and showroom in Chai Wan. The shop had a 250 GTO in for service (anyone know the s/n?) and the showroom had the same carbon Zonda F that was there last week. I really really want to see a Cinque before I leave. I know it's a long shot, but...
was this the 250 GTO, if yes it's a Replica http://www.sps-automotive.com/en_sps/works/250gto_p1.htm The showroom in Chai Wan ist quite nice, unfotrunately they had only a 300SL Replica and some Ferraris, Lambos and other stuff when I was there. I also wanted to see a Zonda and Veyron, but they did some construction work when I was there... Haven't been to the one in Kowloon Bay so far, but I'll go there definitivly when I'm next time in HK the. Martin
Hope to do some spotting while I visit Hong Kong in May. Looking for to it!!! Any advice for a first time traveller to this part of the world would be greatly appreciated.
You should check out the streets of central and causeway bay on weekends, a definite of ferraris going by on any weekends....
Cool, I will be in town for 1 weekend so will definitely try to get there... My current 355 is manual, prior 355 was F1.
i was new to hong kong about two months ago. i'd definitely suggest going to the SPS dealer in chai wan, and hanging out in central around rush hour.
alright, so i'm hell-bent on finding a Zonda Cinque before i leave on saturday, and i assume SPS would be the best place to check. would the showroom or service center be better? also, would they ever allow me (21 y/o white kid) into the back, or secondary showrooms, just to take a peek?
