hi everyone, hope you guys had a good and safe weekend. Do you guys think a 2004 360 F1 is pretty reliable compared to the 99-2002 or does it still give alot of problems?? Thanks for the answers.

My understanding is that a 2002 on up is best. Not personal experience however.

In my estimation, most of the major issues were sorted out sometime during the middle or end of the 2001 production year. I think 2002+ is probably a slightly more sorted car than prior years.

If a 99-'02 isn't sorted out by now...something is wrong

You'd be surprised. Issues such as the sending unit or 3 vs. 6 bolt ring, etc.

You should be a little more careful with the '99-'01 cars but there were almost no changes from MY'02 forward and those are generally regarded as the safest bets. It's a great car my friend, best of luck!

Yeah get a 2002+ model year and I would further add to get a car with at least 7500 miles, maybe up to 15K. Let the first owner(s) sort out the issues, by that mileage, you should get a stable car.

No issues with my '04, not one, and I have been putting a lot of miles on it.
