So, I'm confused...

According to the SpeedTV GrandAM announcers, when a driver wins in GrandAM, it means he/she basically walks with the immortals.

The correlations between GrandAM drivers to Gurney, Donohue,
Gregg, Haywood, Ickx, Andretti, et.al. are nearly constant. It
only stands to reason then that Milka Duno's GrandAM win
at Homestead puts her in a very elite category.

These GrandAM announcers must certainly be right because
who is there to refute them?

But hey cut her some slack... it must be tough to make turns with that kind of rack always in the way

 

Coyne lost Justin Wilson and sponsor Z Line to Dreyer and Rienbold last month and has open seats. He reportedly tested some drivers at Sebring last week and I'm sure he signed Milkand Donuts because she brings big bags of cash to the team...and big fun bags to the pits. The guy has to pay the bills some way. Would be nice if Indycar was loaded with top notch sponsored teams that hired drivers strictly on talent, but the reality is you have Penske, Ganassi and then everyone else. In this economy, the everyone elses are struggling. Even some talented drivers are bringing money along these days.

I'd rather he runs Milka than park the cars and lay off his staff. They'll have to stomach dismal results and hang lots of wings and corners this season, but at least they'll be feeding their families.

She IS hot. Can't take that away from her. Can't drive herself out of a wet paper bag, but she's not hard on the eyes.
With any luck, she's bringing a bag of cash large enough for Coyne to run his other car with a real driver. Rumor has it, he's kinda set on hiring a young American for the other seat...based on talent.

Oh, but she's NOT.

 

Met her in the Ferrari Challenge. She wasn't hot them and imo isn't hot now. Seems most the other drivers must have agreed. Even the single ones steered clear of her.

 

Well, keep in mind it IS Dale Coyne Racing, she won't do much even if she had the ability, which she doesn't, not in THAT league.

 

FYI, Coyne won a race last year with Justin Wilson. Only team other than Penske or Ganassi to do so.
