AHAHAHAHAHA I hope they take Bruce Canepa for all he is worth. Bruce is the world biggest piece of **** I have ever met. He treats everyone like he is GOD and they are nothing more than an annoyance. Swearing and verbally belittling employees and family is the Bruce way. I HOPE YOU LOSE IT ALL!!!!!!!! I could give a crap less what he has done for racing or the car modification scene. Come back down to earth and treat people with a little respect. FU BRUCE!

He also screwed an F-chat member who posted here a while back about a 993TT that Canepa sold him without disclosing a major accident repair.

There's a lot of legit "negative" stories about him that I am privy to as well.

I thought dealers are required to disclose that a car has a salvage history...

How's he managed to sustain a successful business for so long whilst conducting this shady practices?

It'll be interesting to see how it pans out in court.

Yes but that isnt the point. It seems Canepa didnt do the necessary to have the particular 959 legalized but still sold it as one.

Looks like it's time to pay the piper for Mr. Canepa. Too bad his (alleged) shady dealings have hurt so many before this. May Justice prevail.

I almost bought a 959 S (sport) from Canepa and the car was really done right. Bruce is a very nice guy on the phone, and the people who have him work on their 959s have nothing but good things to say. Without Canepa (and Bill Gates) we would not have the USA 959

There is Bryan M... who IMO is more important to the 959 coming to the US than Bill Gates, or Bruce Canepa. If I were to seriously consider buying one; I'd contact him.

(Disclosure: I have no financial interest in anything myself. But those looking to speak with him, pm me and I'll give you his email).

That is not actually true. The FIRST federalized 959 came through Wallace Environmental Testing Labs in Houston, TX MANY, MANY years before Canepa was doing his thing...

I've noticed that Canepa's ads on ebay have changed recently. They're no longer Canepa. They're clearly the same cars, but a new seller (goldnstate or some such) with different emails (aol) for each. Strange...
