We didn't really in Bruges. Went into a pub and decided to try and go through every Belgium Beer they had, starting with the weakest. Ended up in a right state a couple of hours later and it was about 8.30pm. Made hard work of finding the hotel again. I remember the last beer being a special version of something called 'bush' that was close on 15% and like drinking syrup !!!

I tried to drive one of the greatest roads... I went speicifically to drive the Stelvio, but due to a good skiing season the dammed thing was closed for avalanche risk and repair reasons.

So I had a 3 day mini-tour of the Italian Alps and missed out on the objective. Still any holiday in Italy and/or the Alps is worth the trip!

We spent the last night of of Euro driving holiday in Delerium with a friend who lives in Brussels. I've never had such a painful day of driving the morning after! 3 people in a Clio 182 with loud exhaust, all hungover and late for the ferry. We did Brussels to Nottingham almost non-stop except for the ferry and a Burger King at some random services near London!

The previous 7 days of Nurburgring, Alps, Stelvio, San Bernardino, Susten Pass etc etc were all worth it though! 2200 miles in a week :)
