My dealer called to let me know my Cali was at stage 20. He then ask me if I would be interested in flying the car in for $3k, Ferrari was having a special on air freight. I took him up on it. Now my car should be here 1st week in April.

Expediting cash flow for Ferrari? You get the car sooner, they get paid sooner.

3K is a steal. It's up to you to decide if you what to wait another month for it.

I paid the 13K and it was worth it! It also seems to move ahead of the line through whatever else has to be done on the east coast.

Make sure that you get to see an airway bill with your vin# on it showing that your car actually flew.

I was offered the 3K deal by a dealer once and passed and guess what the car showed up one week later anyway...

Car dealers are always coming up with creative new ways to make profit!
That is so funny! I would have probably said yes and never known.

Is this a real promotion or a dealer scamming some extra money?. If it is real, I'm going to do it .

Should be easy to spot since it shows on your MSRP. It's not a dealer add on, it's a factory charge. Why would a dealer be dumb enough to try to scam you when it is a Ferrari factory option and shows on your sticker? Of course, if you don't know it should show on the sticker then maybe.

Dealer states it's for March deliveries only, not an open ended thing.
