One of the 360's that I'm considering has a dark gray interior. The dash, doors, and steering wheel are black. But the seats and carpet are gray.

Any reason to believe this is an undesirable color either from a value standpoint or just in terms of maintenance/wear?

What is the exterior color? Silver/grey?
How do you like the look? Any pictures

What color is the paint ? Depends on the overall combo IMHO.

The exterior is Grigio Titanio. I think its a great color combination and I'm not really hung up on resale value. I'd just prefer black for the interior because its a bit more normal.

The only question that really matters is DO YOU LIKE IT? Doesn't matter what the rest of us think. We're not buying the car. And if resale is not a big deal, then go for it! We'd love to see pics...

    Still the questions remain.
    Is it undesirable?
Is it hard to keep clean abd looking new?

I'd say it's a nice change from black, which can get very warm in summer months.

All colors wear the same, obviously, black is just easy to touch up....other colors are too tho with the right dyes and polishes....

It sounds very nice, to me!

    Joe,

Are you referring to the 2000 in Jersey? If so, I inquired about it myself about 6 months ago. The owner is a member as well.

Personally, I think it's a little bland. But hey, different strokes...

Yes, that's the one but I dont think this is going to happen. My gut feeling is that he doesnt want to sell so I'm probably going to pass. The car has been for sale for 6+ months apparently but the owner wont let me drive it and he made it clear that he has many people interested in it already. I just wont get into a bidding war. Its such a shame when someone is ready to buy and the seller just doesnt want the buyer's money. I never understood that.

According to Steve at Arena, the car is well serviced and in good shape.

    Life goes on.

Joe- Hard to buy a car that is not for sale. Makes you wonder, does it not? That is the problem with dealing with private owners, many are just fishing.

    Therein lies the answer.

FWIW, I wouldn't buy a car with a grey leather interior. Just never appealed to me.

Jon, Brett- Believe you are both full of crap, but that is only a personal opinon, just like yours on gray interiors. My charcoal interior is beautiful. Way more attractive than black.

Incidentally, my wife's silver GL 550 also has a gray interior. Double my comments.

Here's a shot of the 458 interior from Geneva. It's done in gray, silver, and red stitching.

I think it's extremely elegant and very well done. I think gray can work in an interior.

    Thanks guys.

Blair- That interior is gorgeous with the red stitching. The carpet with red outline looks really nice. Mine is currently just black with a gray Cavallino. Wonder if Keith would outline it in red for me?

My MBZ S-600 has a full Grey interior/Silver exterior....looks great.

Stays pretty clean too considering I only do about 4K miles/yr :D

I would not be turned off from that combo in a Ferrari

    Beanster.....

With that paint I'd say it is a perfect match, and the interior would easily appeal to someone drawn towards the exterior color.

Maintenance and wear is a non-issue, especially compared to what crema or tan can look like after a bit of use.

A vendor wasting people's time and fishing around however is not who you want to deal with under any circumstances. There is more than just one 360 for sale right now........

ya, that's it Terry...take it personally.
the OP asked because his gut told him that it would hurt his resale...and he's right.
he didn't ask for opinions on whether people liked it or had grey interiors themselves.
compared to black or tan it is 'undesirable' and it will negatively effect resale, period.
9 out 10 people would prefer black or tan to grey...do you think that won't have an effect ?

the odd guy also prefers rosso rubino to rosso corsa on his 360...
what's the effect of that on the resale of his rosso rubino 360 ?

having said that, the darker the grey, the less the effect will be...

Brett- Yup. When someone posts he has a such and such color interior or such and such color car, I try and make it a point not to badmouth either. Simple common courtesy. But maybe that is only me.

Charcoal 4304 is a very dark gray that looks black in some lighting, with silvery overtones in other lighting conditions. It will not hurt resale on any car and is very easy to maintain. So I disagree completely with your premise on resale value.
