I saw this car at Geneva yesterday on Pininfarina's stand. I thought it was interesting that the car's designers chose to show it on the standard wheels. I personally think they look much better than the optional 20" sports wheel. Sitting in the car again yesterday for the first time since the World Premiere launch I am now certain it is smaller inside than the 430.

Those rims really look like they belong on a Hyundai, what were they thinking?

I wish I was, maybe I'm alone on this but compared to the other 5-spoke option they are worlds apart appearance-wise. It looks like an afterthought, doesn't look right to me. Just my opinion though.

I am wondering if that car had a front axle lift? Judging by the gap between the front tire and fender it looks like it does and it was in the up position? Seems like it has nice ground clearance for those pesky driveway ramps....

Oh my God! That's it, that's the colour for me! Don't happen to have the second pic in a higher res do you? I'd love to give that a good going over in Photoshop to make a desktop.

Michelin tires appear. Great color but the Sport wheel has it all over the standard wheel shown here. Nice pictures!

The car has a similar shock absorber set up to the 599 (magna ride) so that when it is turned off, the suspension is not active

I've noticed an increased liking in darker colors for the 458.. While I like(not love) the front end it seems the darker colors take take the focus from the front and shift it to the overall lines of the car. I do however love the rear of the car when the diffuser and exhaust tips contrast with the car... If I am still fortunate to order one (probably 2012 model) I will still most likely order it in RC.

Count me in as one of the minority but I highly prefer the standard wheel over the optional Sport wheel. It looks great here!

Did the thread poster get a chance to determine what the interior color was?

The interior / exterior combination works well in this case.

I can't help to notice the wheels similarity to those of the 348. I love 'em!

    IMHO

I didn't get any interior shots but etienne posted this one over in the Showroom forum. I'm pretty sure the interior colour was Cioccolato.

That interior and exterior go so well together. Probably the best combo I've seen so far.

Lets hope somebody makes an aftermarket front bumper soon, the rest of the car is ABSOLUTELY FAB, but the FRONT of the 458 is all so terribly WRONG ! in anything other than black
