RTL guys say that it's the exhaust, judging by the sound. That in itself wouldn't be too problematic, the problem is that the hot gas now gets into the bodywork and might damage whatever it encounters.

Massa may have engine problems, Alonso has too much tire wear... hope these won't turn into serious problems, I'd hate to see a Hamilton-Rosberg-Schumacher podium...
