    WOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Ferrari 1-2 :D

    Ferrari are back :D

Congrats to Alonso winning his 1st race with Ferrari in his 1st race with Ferrari :D

Nice to see Massa back on the track after his accident last year and a Ferrari 1-2 :D

    Boo Lewis 3rd :(

Vettel at one stage was lapping 3secs off Rosberg then he was able to lap the same time as Rosberg for the last 2 laps to keep the place. Great drive.

    Rosberg.

Schumie a great comeback, hasn't raced since 06 and is already 6th! Things can only improve as the season moves on and he gets settled in the team :D

Last years champion stalled off the blocks I dont think he will win it back to back.

Webber went backwards but atleast he made the pts

Luizzi and Rubens getting the pts in places that didn't exist last year

Impressed with Schuey. Did well and held off Button for the race. Schuey had several very fast laps. I am thinking he will shake off whatever he rust he may have by race 4 or 5. We'll see if the car evolves a bit with him.

Also, wow Luizzi. He put down some fantastic laps.

There still is the possibility that it pays off big time on special types of tracks (Monza?), but it obviously isn't THE joker.

    A pretty good synopsis. :)

I thought the refuelling ban made it a little dull though. I used to like watching variation in the strategy with fuel loads throughout the race. :(

Schumacher in the interview, he looks completely flashed and as if he tries very hard not to giggle ... seems as if F1 > Corinna

Glad he is on a high. I am sure he is just glad he is in the points and performed as well as he did. Give him a few races.

Yeah but its a bit of a con. The point spread is relatively the same as last year.

Give this link a whirl http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2010/03/04/the-new-2010-f1-rules-a-quick-guide/

Very very very good drive from Vettel, shame his engine let him down again (Never trust the French:D).

Schumacher lost less than 1 tenth a lap compared to Rosberg, on a HUGE track.

Still not a fan of Alonso, but I have to say he didn't put a wheel wrong.

Massa had a problem in the last 10 laps, something on the right hand side of the car, and I guess he turned the engine down from then on as well.

Glad to see he's back, and sticking with Alonso matching his times more or less throughout the race!

It's a whole new thing for Ferrari to have a 1-2 and actually have 2 drivers in the interview who can talk!

    Dream result, FORZA FERRARI!

Sorry but Vettel should have won that race. Alonso may have won the race but it was gifted to him via a cracked exhaust pipe on Vettel's car. I'll save the wo woooo's for when Alonso wins a race he SHOULD have one.

Schumacher did well and kept Rosberg honest and he wasn't too far behind either, Lewis also recovered well a got a podium yey! Bring on Melbourne!!

that's a bit harsh. Alonso did easily the fastest lap of the race. who can know what he had up his sleeve for the last few laps anyway? bad luck for vettel just the same....winning from pole is always a good effort.

+1. We were lucky. Vettel & Red Bull looked to be in a league of their own if it were not for the cracked header.

Lots of work to do and the boys know it.

Wasn't a great race but the results were interesting. Of the top four teams, Mercedes is the weakest, they weren't sandbagging regarding podium visits. Not much in it between the other three and exactly the same scenario for the next four, Toro Rosso a notch below. Miss the fuel ups too.

I think for the most part Vettel had him covered what with Alonso ducking and diving out of the hot air of Vettel's car to let the engine cool. And you have to remember Vettel was just starting to pull away from Alonso at the time of him exhaust failure, and they were pretty even on pace too. But hey, thats racing sometimes.
