CONGRATULATIONS! I'm sure that car will give you many days of enjoyment.
Man that reminds me of when I had my car delivered. But the driver could not get into my neighborhood. Luckily the street out front is a 5 lane suburb street. Congrads.
Wow, that car is absolutely stunning. 10 years old and yet it looks like it could've rolled out of the show room yesterday. The 360 really is just a timeless look, in 20 years it will still be drop dead sexy; even though most cars will be the size of a boat and probably shaped like a box by then.
Congratulations!!! I can only imagine how great that moment felt for you. Beautiful car; enjoy it in good health! -G.B. P.S. What does your son think of it?
Enjoy! I have sooooo much fun with my 360 since I got it in January. And your car does show VERY nicely... I considered it myself. Have fun!
Congrats. I'm in Chadds Ford as well. Well, sort of. Living in Newark for a few more months (Senior at UD), but I pop home often enough. I drive a silver/red Cayman, my dad has a silver 996tt cab and a red 550. Say hi if you see us! -Joe
Congratulations John. I have enjoyed reading about your journey to Ferrari ownership. Your car looks awesome. I'm sure that it will bring you many years of fun. Thanks for the pictures to share the moment.
great car and your opinion of a red car is wonderful. you won't have any red car, only a Ferrari. your car is awesome.
It's always great to see a post like this because it reminds me of that fateful day (October 23, 2009) when I picked up my Black Ferrari 360 Spider from a well known rock and roll star. It was definitely one of the most exciting days of my life... However, unlike most people who get a Ferrari--my first stop was to the Auto Vault in Beverly Hills (under Giorgio Armani) to drop off the car where it was to sit till my birthday on December 2 ! So imagine how excited and frustrating it is to have a Ferrari and not drive it right away ! Of course, it was totally worth it when the day came and I got to debut it at my birthday party. Best Birthday Ever ! Enjoy ! And Congratulations !
Had my first cruise today and put a whopping 40 miles on the car. It is awesome and everything I could ever need. Plenty of power, torque, speed, etc. I took it pretty easy as I generally drive like an old man, a really old man, and barely go over the speed limit with a max of about 60 today. Pathetic, I know. So my wife goes for a quick drive and takes a neighbor friend. After the drive my wife said the car is unreal and loves it. She basically took the same route I did on my am trip and she then tells me "yea, I had it up to 100 in no time at all. That car IS fast." I gotta step up my game or keep her away from the car!
