    Guys,

For all of you out there that want a Capristo Level 3 Exhaust, but think it might be too loud, well Capristo has redesigned it so now the new style has 2 manually adjustable valves to quiet it up when you want to be less conspicous. For Loud Track sound you can use a wrench to open the valves to full Race sound. Probably the same thing as the twin sound but with manual valves versus remote control valves. I'm sure they will probably just get rid of the 3 different level exhausts and just keep the one that's fully adjustable so you can have level 1, 2 or 3 all in one exhaust without the price tag of the Twin Exhaust.

I ordered one from Nick at nicksforzaferrari.com and just found out that the new style is adjustable manually via wrench, so I'm very excited to receive and try out.

At first I was worried that Level 3 Capristo might be a bit too loud and I would get pullled over by the local Police or really be annoying on the street. But now if there are any problems I can tune it down manually a bit as needed for trips or track events. Not as great as the Twin Sound exhaust with remote switch over, but glad they redesigned it for those of us who need to tone it down when needed.

I get mine on Friday of this week, so I will post pics and video for everyone to review.

    Nick

If I might be so bold, how much did you pay for said exhaust? I am about to pull the trigger on a Capristo Level III.

I am a little confused here...

What system are you talking about? The system that is named 355 Racing with the new twin valve system or the "old" system that has one valve but comes in step 1,2 or 3. Or is it a completely new system?

Cant find any info on www.capristo.de

Got any pictures or other technical info?

This is a newly developed system I believe.

Ok. It arrived today and I took some pictures of it. Not sure if this is only for the 348, but the Capristo Level 3 is now manually adjustable by turning the valves on each side of the muffler with an allen key to open or close. They arrived with the valves wide open, so I didn't have to do anything. But if I want to quite them up, I can simply lay down under the rear of the car and put in an allen key wrench and turn the valves closed. Not sure why they didn't develop this before. It's Genious. Now if I get pulled over or I go somewhere where I don't want it to be too loud, I can tune it down.

Video to follow this Weekend after I get it installed. Stay tuned.
