Would somebody be kind enough to let me have the dimensions, please? A photo would be great, as well

I've a 348, the covers should be the same?

Dimensions are 500mm x 480mm or in old money 1ft 7 1/4in by 1ft 6 3/4in. I've always found it a bit of a struggle to throttle the cover into into its home, maybe give it a bot of extra girth.

Sorry, no snaps, if you can wait a while, will get something together in the next few days.

was it standard equipment? If so, was it made from canvas, cloth, leather ?

Sorry, no idea if it was factory orignal equipment, have a look in the spares catelogue for your vehicle. Nothing showing for the 348. The material is a 'leatherette style, with a zip on two edges.

Sounds very similar to the F355. I purchased a brand new factory leather boot cover and it came with a nice new cover bag too (I bought my F355 used and it did not have the cover bag...probably lost by previous owner). Black vinyl, with a white fabric lining. Zipper runs along two sides, and dimensions are 19"x 19.5". The far corner is rounded off, which is an odd touch. If I was making my own, I would go ahead and add one inch in each dimension to make fitting of the cover a bit easier. If I fold carefully, not a problem, but sometimes I have to refold to get it to fit properly. An extra inch each way would be a nice touch.

Note the zipper has an "H" on it...must denote the brand of the zipper?

So it is a 20x20 inch flat bag, made of Vinyl? My wife can make me one of those if I can find vinyl.

Thank you so much for all this information! Just one final question - the bag is obviously two square pieces but how deep is the side ie the section with the zip?

    Thanks again!

John, simple answer is zero, think of it as a pillow case or cushion cover, have a look at the pictures.

To be honest, it is not that tight a fit. 9 times out of 10, I can fold the boot cover and get it to fit in the bag first try. But increasing the dimensions by 1 inch in each direction would allow the fit to be a bit more generous. ;)
