Drove my "new" 355 today for the first time with the top down. When I hit small bumps or undulations, I hear a squeak. Sounds like its just behind the drivers seat. Opened the door while driving slowly on bumps but the noise is still there. I think it made the same squeak with top up. So I don't think its the top or the door.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking? Any simple way to diagnose?

Congrats on the new 355 Jordan! :D:D

No simple way to diagnose noises like that mate. :D:D

Just have to keep trying to find it. Noise, like electrical gremlins are the hardest form of diagnosing when working on any piece of machinery. :D:D

Good luck, hopefully you find it without giving you too much stress. :D:D

I had and still have to some extent the squeek you are talking about. In my case it is like a bird chirp.

For me it was dried out and shrinkun rubber bushings/washers that are used to mount the radiator. Over time these shrink a little, so especially when the car is cold there is a small amount of movement between the rad and it's mounting points - hence the squeek. Once warm and things expand a little this squeek is not as loud.

I had my fasteners tighten and this helped a little. Eventually I'll just have them all replaced, left and right.

This is probably obvious, but if the seat back is touching the firewall, it will squeak.

Just an update. The squeek is gone :)

I had a leak at the clutch cover. I ended up changing triple seals, TO bearing, re-greased the flywheel and changed the rt inner Cv boot. To do this, I removed the rear bumper, muffler, exhaust bypass pipe and valve and rt catalytic converter.

After re-assembly, a Bonus. No more squeek. Im guessing it was coming from part of the exhaust system. :) :)
