Very cool!! :D Sounds like 500+ HP.........scaled of course. :)

But why do you keep giving the engine the 'finger'? :D

Have you ever thought about building a car or at least a simple rolling chassis for that engine?

No way. I know of a few complete car builds. The 1/4 scale Ferrari, 20 years. 1/6 Deusenberg, 9 years and counting.

Personally I like engines. The car is secondary to me. Ferrari, Duesenberg, Bugatti, Ect. all have great attention to detail in the engine compartment. I go to car shows and spend 75% of my time looking under the hood of the cars.

I just emailed about the possibility of getting a set of castings and drawings to produce a 1/4 scale 250 GTO engine. Not exact in detail but very nicly done. Hope they are still available.

That is a bit to small for me. I am in the early stages of designing a V8 with a 5/8 bore and stroke. The block will be about 5 inches long.

I am hoping to finish a straight 8 project I started a while back.

I see you are from Michigan. If interested the NAMES show will be in Southgate this year. This is the show where the guy's bring there working models of engines and sometimes the whole car.

These days - just gardening (hey - look at my avatar!). In the past - ham radio,
robot building, photography (was a pro for 10 years), writing (sold several cover
articles, including one featuring a rock star with my photos and article), rock
    collecting, metal detecting.

Now I just grow veggies and herbs.
