Cars were better looking too. I remember going to the GPs in the 70's V-12s, Flat 12s, and V-8s WOW

No, I haven't. And yes--very cool! Thank you. I still remember in '93 walking the pit lane in Montreal after qualifying. I stopped at the Ferrari garage while my friends walked on. Some guy walked up next to me and told the lead mechanic he represented the corner workers and needed to see the kill switch for their records. The mechanic was skeptical and eyed him over, but gave in. He looked at me, assuming I was with the guy, and waved us both through and escorted us into the garage. The two of them walked to the rear of the chassis mounted on stands, and I buried my head into the cockpit and snapped as many mental images as possible. In almost no time, we were being graciously led out when I saw my friends returning, and the looks on their faces were priceless!

I'm afraid not, but if I had the money! (as I'm six feet two it's probably the last F1 Ferrari I could actually fit in, especially as it appears to have been Bergers).

Let Me just go and check My lottery numbers for last night! :)

I would be interested in approximately how many RPM's the Ferrari F1 V12 turned in those days.

    Thanks,
    Alan

What I would give to have even the V10s back...the V8s are awful in comparison and whatever is down the pipeline will surely be worse...

Having posted the link to the advert, I have to say that I'd be happier if the photo's were of the same car in the same location, rather than one of Alesi's (No.27) and one of Berger's (No.28), in two different places.
It maybe something, it maybe nothing, adverts like that just make Me a little nervous. (Not that I'm in the market anyway, thanks to that stupid bl**dy lottery!).
