Does Anyone Know this 355 Wheel?

Does anyone know the cost and availability of this wheel? I believe it's distributed by Dimex in Germany but I'm having difficulty making the connection. Any distributers in the US? Contact info in Germany or the U.S. would be greatly appreciated.

personally never thought anything looked better than the stock 355 wheels, until now.

 

they remind me the 360CS wheels.

Agreed, the front lip and wheels are gorgeous! I thought a few years ago an Fchatter (maybe Xavier?) tried to buy these items and could never make contact with the manufacturer. The look closest to the 18" 360 Challenge (not 19" Stradale) wheels, I think.... but the small multi-piece screws are a nice blend with 360 modulars. Me like.

 

Did you see the airbox? Damn that thing looks wicked. Wish it was black instead of CF.

Yeah, I've been gazing at them for awhile. I need to have mine refinished and was thinking about them as a possible option but, unfortunately, no luck so far. I was hoping that maybe one of our German members might have some experience with Dimex...I'll try contacting them again.....maybe a group buy opp??

I don't think they have a U.S. "connection." I did buy some clear Euro side turn signals from them a couple of years ago, although I was in Germany at the time.

I bought the "Fiorano" wheels directly from the Imola Racing in Germany several years ago. Your wheels are the "Challenge" model. They shipped them directly to me without any intermediary. Still very expensive but IMO one of the best looking wheels available for the 355. I can check my receipts to see if I have an e mail address. They were very accomodating as I had one of the few 355's with a "wide track" rear axle which is a few mm wider than normal 355 rear track and the 11" wheels they normally sell did not fit my car.

 

I had the same problem with my 95. I have HRE and the rear track on my car was wider than all the other 355's with the same wheels and offset. They had to mill the hub area of the wheel so it would fit in the wheel well. What serial # is your 355? An early model?

Dimex finally responded to me with pricing......the wheels run as follows based on size and width:

18".....$1,500-1,800
19".....$1,800-2000
20".....$2,100-$2,300

Prices are approximate and are per wheel.

 

Good looking wheels. But not at THOSE prices.

 

That's the GruppeM airbox from Japan- I'm running that on my car.

Makes a noticeable bit of difference in midrange torque- the car pickups an almost 'turbo-Boost" style "oomph" around 4-5K...also the sound is incredible- it adds a throaty roar to the shriek of the exhaust at high RPMs that's pretty cool- I know on the dyno they say it's 10-15 HP at 8K, but the real meat is in the mid-revs.
