I have a customer in tomorrow who has just bought a manual 348 with 45k on the clock and is new to Ferrari. Where should he take it for service.....don't dare mention ****** to him as he has had a terrible dealing with them. Any suggestions appreciated from those who might have one. Rob.
Black Stallion in Ringwood. 13 Pilgrim Crt Ringwood. 9873 0308...they know 348s inside out AND they're honest. There is no alternative. if you want to know more about the others, PM me.
Gosh Another Hughes caught doing bad things. http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/entertainment/confidential/hey-dad-star-denies-molestation-charge/story-e6fredqc-1225844966831
yeah....it's terrible what some people, who seems perfectly respectable on the outside, are capable of doing....and not ONLY if their name is Hughes. I don't quite understand why it comes up 17 years later, but anyway...that's how it is. I guess this has been going for a few years now. www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm and it'll be going for a long time to come.
Uhm, yeah, if you want them to drill straight through a plenum chamber to attach a BOV because they couldn't be bothered fitting it properly ANYWHERE else or install an electric chargecooler pump that shortcircuits the ECU, etc. These are just two recent examples that came to my place to get fixed. BTW, apart from Zagame's, isn't Sandro the only one that has the full 348 diagnostic computer?
I'm not. Both of those instances came at my place in the last couple of months. Remember, I have a full time mechanic (ex Lotus/Lambo) working for me now for 9 months or so.
remember?? i never knew! I still don't believe it though. I've sent your message to them for them to comment on though, and i'll get back to you. the issues with Mr Hughes, however, are irrefutable.
No probs. Tell them it's the black Sport 300, one of 3 in Aust, one of 64 ever made. The damaged parts are not obtainable anywhere anymore, apart from hopefully finding a wrecked one on Ebay or something. What they did, wasn't just a simple mistake, but an absolute IDIOTIC action. I'll have no problem confirming this to them face to face tomorrow.
I won't be mentioning it to BS just for the hell of it, because frankly I couldn't care less. I'll only be mentioning it to them in from of PeePee if PeePee wants me to, so he can see that I am backing my words. Although, I don't see PeePee thinking that's an issue.
No...I don't doubt you....HOWEVER, I doubt the owner of the car. As judge judy says, if something doesn't make sense it usually it isn't true. I find it hard to believe that a mechanic who flawlessly rebuilt my 308 and 355 engines would drill a hole in a plenum (i assume you mean intake plenum) ...but i was wrong once before. OTOH, different people have different ideas about stuff and different budgets and give different instructions to people. the only things that can't be doubted are oil leaks and chassis cracks
It's not the owner. The car came to me and I saw that myself and I was just shaking my head. The owner was very angry but frankly, he's a pu5sy, and didn't want to 'cause waves. Me? Well...
