I have no affiliation with this car, its owner, or the broker, but thought I'd share the lead.
    http://www.daveolimpiautomobiles.com/
Click on "Cars for sale", then "2002 Ferrari 575 Maranello".

A 575M with a stick-shift and the Fiorano Handling package is what some folks keep on a look-out for.
The asking price is $110k, color is grigio alloy with blue leather interior, 16,xxx miles.
Red brake calipers, no shields, books & tools. Several pics on the above website link.

olimpi has some neat stuff for sale and he takes great pics. been on ebay and i spoke with the owner. it is my understanding that it does not have FHP unless it was added interim.

I bet that's the car that I saw and test drove at Ferrari of Newport Beach in March, 2009. There aren't too many Grigio Alloy/Navy 6-speed cars around...

At the time, the car had about 10,000 miles and could have been purchased for $89,000. Then Michael Sheehan got his hands on it and asked a whopping $120K for it.

It did not have Fiorano Handling at that time.

Wow, hard to believe but I think the Sheehan car was a different VIN.
    http://www.ferraris-online.com/pages/carintro.php?reqcardir=FE-575M-129315

The Dave Olimpi car is #129978 and the Sheehan car was #129315.
If you look carefully at the pics, they have different radios in them.

Imagine owning a grigio alloy 575M - navy interior - red calipers - 6spd Ferrari and having one just like it park next to you!

    Guys, guys, guys,

Already know the car from a few months back before. Original owner was (or still is) a fellow named Bruce and he wanted $120k. Can't tell if it's consigned or owned by Dave Olimpi. [Not that it really matters.]

Here is the ebay Motors link from the last time it was offered. Bidding stopped at $80k. It should still work and show the other pics associated with the car.

This is NOT the Sheehan car, as others have pointed out. [Sorry, Dave] I'd say the Sheehan car was arguably nicer and better documented. Dave is right about one thing - that car WAS a steal at $89k.

This 575 does not have FHP [not that that's a big deal]. Here are a couple other things one should know about it, from my notes when I spoke with Bruce:

    - No records before last owner bought it in 2005. Last owner (Bruce) only did oil changes. So, basically, no services in at least 5 years.
    - Needed 15k service (minimally) [EDIT: I now see on Olimpi's site that that's been addressed. Good thing. Hopefully nothing else was found]
    - Needs tires
    - Stock exhaust
    - No shields, but luggage, tool kit, and all keys
    - Interior could use some love
    - had interior work done (cup holder console) and rear shelf is almost entirely taken up with woofer cabinet. (to each his own, but I'd take that out)

Anyhoo. Grigio Alloy is a tough one. I'm lukewarm on it and fiance hates the color. I'm not entirely off the car, but I'm much further down the road with both an Argento and a Grigio Titanio 6-speed 575 that's been offered to me.

    olimpi is a consignment guy....

i was looking at a 2000 550 he had several years ago (later purchased by an aston man in tenn and now owned by a DR. in AL. olimpi has a very good reputation.

ketel recap is spot on as far as car details.

the baby blue color isn't my first thought for a Maranello. The upsell here is the gated shifter. I'd probably end up repainting the body, maybe to white. The interior color doesn't bother me really.

    Repaint the body??

Grigio Alloy was one of the most popular colors for the Maranello. It's not really baby blue -- it's a silver with a blue-ish tiny. It's like Porsche's Polar Silver. You've got to see it in person if you haven't already...

:sigh: where's money when I need it...pretty much one of my dream Ferraris. 575M in 6-speed one day...:( Beautiful color and hopefully the next owner(s) do NOT repaint it. Try to keep it pristine for me. :)

Congratulations on owning such a great color combo on a 550.
I bought a tdf blue/tan 1998 550 a couple of years ago and am still thrilled with both its great looks and performance.

Enjoy your car for years to come.
BTW, are you located in California or elsewhere?
