I perfer to watch in real time as it happens when it happens. I dislike time shifters.
    just my personal idiosyncracy.

i would say: get over it! considering how much you dislike commercials ...

you can't rightfully complain if you're not willing to use the easy fix.

even "real time" isn't real time. there is a small broadcast delay you know. just tell yourself that now it's a big broadcast delay. :)

I remember the days of delayed, heavily highlighted coverage of maybe six races out of the calendar on ABC's Wide World Of Sports, with Jim McKay and Jackie Stewart...

I would totally deal with the ads if Speed had a half decent commentary team.

You mean you don't have a 25" 1080p high def flat screen that can be switched from TV to computer function with remote control in your office ? Not to mention a comfortable chair,

I'm just kidding you a tad bit, LOL But, I'm serious about the TV !

I never said I disliked commercials. What I dislike is the continued repetiveness of one commercial in particular.... you over generalize and made an assumption. Please re-read my comments. And the complaint wasn't realyy a "complaint" it was meant to be a humorous comment about The Hot Tube Time Machine being played over and over and over and over. So please don't complain about what you think or "assume" other people to be complaining about. This is not a complaint, just a comment.

The comercials in the actual race were varied and tho some were played more than once, they were well spaced and were very well tolerated and gave a chance for a drink or bathroom break. No complaints about the commercials during the race... sorry to not fall into your pigeonholing.

    broadcast delay?.... duuuhhhh.....

then get a DVR and fix it! :)

Likewise, my "complaint" was not a complaint, just a comment. So please don't complain about what you think or "assume" are complaints about comments.

sorry i don't understand your comment. there is about a 3 second broadcast delay.
