The Ghost Writer, walked out, but it was still really good. Before that, "Remember Me", Despite some drawbacks I thought this was the best movie I've seen all year. But I'm a softie, so take that with a grain of salt. Great twist at the end too!
Miami Vice. Better than I expected given the poor reviews when it came out a few years ago. Farrell looked bored and exhausted, but Foxx did a good job. Decent story and good action sequences. I wonder if the negativity of the movie was that it really wasn't like the TV series, but rather a "reimagining" in modern times. Maybe it would have been received better had it taken place in the early 80's with the drug trafficking back then in south Florida. In a post 9/11 world, perhaps cocaine, even in ludicrously large quantities in the movie, just doesn't seem that dramatic anymore.
Watched Planet 51 last night, very interesting. I had a weird case of Deja Vu, because when I was in about 3rd-4th grade, I wrote a short story very similar to this. It's cool to see the other side of things, even though it's cartoony
Watched Hachi, the dog movie. I really liked it, it had some long parts and some sappy parts, but overall great movie.
My cousin told me about that, I thought he was joking. I asked twice what the name was Watched Old Dogs once again.

That's a great overlooked Coen Bros movie. Awesome performance from Billy Bob Thornton and an early breakout role for Scarlett Johannson.
Philadelphia - Great acting by Hanks and Washington. I watched it in the 90s..and again yesterday. I wonder if the situation is any better for HIV positive people when it comes to their work conditions. Absolute Power - Good Clint Eastwood movie. Not the best but entertaining.
I saw two movies this weekend. The Men Who Stare at Goats and How to Train your Dragon. The former was alright, had a pretty decent plot and some funny scenes; I actually enjoyed the latter movie more though. My girlfriend and I saw it in iMax 3D and would see it again for sure.
Good Hair A documentary on hair I thought this was going to be a funny movie, but it wasn't. I skipped through a lot of it. It's crazy how much hair is worth, and how much weaves cost. Ridiculous $$$.
