Can't wait to see it! The fun part for me is that they showed up at the exact time we pulled in! They left Fort Wayne a little over an hour after we did in the cars. I'm not sure which would've been more fun....the heli ride or a Ford GT and a 360 Modena cruising the freeways! I'm blessed to have had the choice. JIM
Haha, we all laughed when you guys were leaving, when you were asked one of the best questions possible in life: "You want to trade?"
Oh my god, I just found this thread....did I miss a tour of his collection? I am feeling such heartache right now. I would have loved to have seen those cars and met some other diehard car fans. If that's what happened, is there going to be another gathering? Chris
It would be, except he prefers to keep a low profile and we are dedicated to respecting that for him. JIM

Greetings fellow f-chatters, As an avid car-enthusiast, I was wondering if there was anyway that I could visit the car collection as I am going to be in Detroit over the weekend from Toronto. Having read this whole thread, I am blown-away from the vast array of automobiles and would love to see these cars in person. However, it seems that his collection is only open during specific times and for selected individuals. I just wanted to get his confirmed instead of finding out later and regretting it. And a bit off-topic, but are there any other museums/collections in the Detroit area that are worth visiting? Thanks in advance!
Sorry, the collection is only viewable through invitation. I do recommend checking out the Walter P. Chrysler Museum as well. Be sure to check out both of Metro Detroit's prime Cars and Coffee events Sat. Morning. (woodward just north of 14 mile... the Autozone Hobbies store) 8-10a (Coolidge just south of 15 mile by the Kohls, and Home Depot)10a-12p
Well I missed the tour that you guys went on, but I was able to get in there this past week. Here is a video I compiled. And if you want to see more pictures, click the link in the info for a slideshow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7BSDwvYC7Q Chris
